Step 1

Positioning

Before removing the backing film, place the helmet holder in the desired location to check the position.

This area is then thoroughly cleaned using the cleaning cloth .

Step 2

Fastening

Carefully remove the backing film of the 3M adhesive tape and do not touch it with your fingers.

The helmet holder is heated for 10-15 seconds (warm, not hot!) and pressed evenly onto the cleaned area for 1-2 minutes .

(For example, use a regular hair dryer. A heat gun or similar device generates too much heat and may damage the product.)

Step 3

Usage

First use only possible 24 hours after application so the 3M adhesive tape can ensure maximum hold.

Safety Tether – Installation Guide

The safety tether is installed as follows:

  1. Choose a suitable position for the base on the left or right chin area next to the MonkeyMounts helmet mount.
  2. Remove the protective film from the adhesive base and gently warm up the 3M tape.
  3. Press the base firmly onto the desired spot for about 1 minute.
  4. Thread the included cord through the base and through the connection between the MonkeyMounts helmet mount and the action camera. Then tie it securely.
